Pitman’s People was created in London in 2001 by its Managing Director, Oliver Pitman. Since that time the company’s scope has extended across the globe, but with its operational and head offices still based in the capital, Pitman’s holds London very close to its heart.
If there’s an exciting, landmark event occurring in the city, Pitman’s People want to be involved.
In 2012 we provided London event staff to work on the international spectacle of talent and organization that was the 2012 London Olympic games. Pitman’s People provided Marquee Crews to build the water polo, diving, and five training pools. We also worked with the TFL Olympic Project team at Limelight Sports in order to ensure the safety of over a million people watching the London 2012 Cycle Road Races, Time Trials and Men’s Triathlon across London and Surrey. Our teams were vital in creating a secure and enjoyable environment for both the athletes and crowds on this one of a kind project.
In 2013 when the BBC closed the BBC Television Centre in West London for redevelopment Pitman’s were asked to work in association with the BBC Club to manage the theming and staging at the party to be held at the private members club. The event celebrated the BBC Club – an independent, not for profit members’ club exclusively for employees of the BBC and its partners. All Club members were invited to say a fond farewell to the venue.
With a packed schedule of exciting events in and around the capital this summer Pitman’s People are looking forward to providing more passionate London Event Staff throughout 2013.
