What is the minimum time I can book Pitman’s People Hospitality Staff for?

The minimum time is half a day: 5 hours min pay

Some staff companies charge for a crew chief. Do you charge for this also?

For larger teams we send a Team Leader with our staff. We charge a slightly higher hourly rate for Team Leaders, depending on experience.

Do your Hospitality Staff have a uniform and the right safety clothes?

Yes, Staff will dress accordingly to the clients requirements. Depending on the event our Hospitality Staff wear company branded t-shirts, fleeces, shorts, trousers, ties, steel-toe cap boots and high-visibility jackets.

Where do you operate?

Pitman’s People operate all over the United Kingdom and Europe. The company is located in central London

Some staffing companies don’t have transport, do Pitman’s People?

Yes, we have two company vans & various sized minibuses

Pitman’s People specialise in building marquees and event structures and we’re recruiting for new marquee, event and labour crews.

Be part of some fantastic events around the UK! Last year we worked on the London Olympics 2012, Wimbledon, F1, V-festival, Wireless festival, LFW and the Chelsea flower show.

We offer seasonal hospitality staff contracts and at the end of the season possible full time contracts to successful candidates could be offered. Whether you’re looking for a short term contract or a career, Pitman’s People welcomes the right candidates.

This is a great career opportunity for people to learn new skills, to learn a new trade or just have an enjoyable hospitality staff job for 6 months. There is a clear progression scheme and we are committed to training and investing in you.

Starting rate for no experience is £8.10 p/h. This is reviewed at the end of your trial period of 200 hours.

Rates range from £8.10 – £13.00 p/h.

Expected weekly earnings of between £250 – £450 + per week depending on hours worked.
